Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before using Clikix.
Please also note the following analogues:

  • Any service that relates to and is provided by Clikix – “Services”
  • User/visitor/any entity that accesses and uses our Services – “you”, “your”, “yours”
The Terms are a legally binding contract between you and us. Your access to and use of our Services is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with our Terms. Our Terms apply to all users, visitors and others who access or use our Services.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be legally bound by our Terms. Do not use our Services if you disagree with any part of our Terms.
Furthermore, you are responsible for reading and understanding the Terms of third-party organisations that associate with the Services we provide to you.

1.0 Guidelines

1.1 Account and project creation

You will need to provide your email ID, password, and username to create an account with Clikix. An email ID is required for us to communicate with you and provide certain Services to you, such as promotions, ownership confirmation, password resets, etc.
After you have created a Clikix account, we will send you an email to confirm ownership of the account. To verify the account, you must click the link provided. Once again, you will be required to enter your email and password.
After you have created a Clikix account, you can buy a domain and assign it to a project that you create.
After a project has been created, we will provide you with 1 free subdomain and 1 free hosting plan. You will receive 500MB of storage, 10 GB of bandwidth, and 100MB of database usage.
Whenever you create a new project, our servers will generate a unique IP that you can use for that project only and for no other purposes. Furthermore, this IP will be used to identify your project.

1.2 Hosting plan upgrades and limitations

If you upgrade or purchase a hosting plan, you will not be allowed to downgrade.
For every hosting plan, there are limitations. If any such limitations are exceeded, then your website will not work. We will notify you if you exceed any hosting plan limitations.
If you have exceeded a bandwidth limitation, then you may choose to either upgrade your hosting plan or wait until the bandwidth refreshes the following month.
If you have exceeded a storage limitation or database usage limitation, then you may choose to either upgrade your hosting plan or delete files or data.

1.3 Domain/hosting plan expiry and renewal

Every domain/hosting plan that you purchase will have a limited duration, after which it will expire. After your domain/hosting plan expires, your website will no longer be usable until you renew your domain/hosting plan.
We will remind you to renew your domain/hosting plan within 30 days, 15 days, 7 days, 3 days and 1 day of its expiry. After the date of expiry of your domain/hosting plan, we will remind you once every day over the next 4 days. On day 4 post-expiry of your domain/hosting plan, we will give you a final reminder and a notice for a grace period of 21 days to pay for the renewal of your domain/hosting plan without penalty. Your domain/hosting plan will be cancelled after the grace period has ended on the domain/hosting plan cancellation date.
If you want to renew your domain/hosting plan on or after the domain/hosting plan cancellation date, you will incur an extra charge in addition to the renewal fees. To retrieve your account on or after the domain/hosting plan cancellation date, you will have to contact our support team.

1.4 Web browser sign-in and mobile device sign-in

You can sign in to your Clikix account only on one web browser at a time. If you attempt to log into your Clikix account through multiple web browsers simultaneously, then your Clikix account will sign out of all web browsers except for the web browser you are currently using.
You can sign in to your Clikix account only on one mobile device at a time. If you attempt to log into your Clikix account through multiple mobile devices simultaneously, then your Clikix account will sign out of all mobile devices except for the mobile device you are currently using.
You can sign in to your Clikix account on one web browser and one mobile device simultaneously.
However, if you decide to change your password, either through a web browser or through a mobile device, then your Clikix account will sign out of all web browsers and mobile devices, and you will be requested to sign in with the new password.

1.5 Server maintenance

When our servers require scheduled maintenance, we will notify you through email 5 days before the day of maintenance. If our servers require urgent maintenance, then we will not be able to notify you of such in advance and can only notify you at the exact time of maintenance.
All accounts and websites will be non-functional until maintenance is complete.
We will not be responsible for the loss of any unsaved data . The timely saving of your own data will solely be your responsibility.

2.0 TERMS OF USE

2.1 Account

Free account users are allowed to create a maximum of 3 projects per account.
Premium account users are allowed to create more than 3 projects per account.
We will provide you with a password for the file transfer protocol (FTP) and the MySQL account. You are responsible for the safekeeping of this password and all other passwords and usernames that pertain to your access to and use of our Services.
You are not allowed to change your username or email ID linked to your Clikix account. If you want to change your password, then you must contact our support team.

2.2 Domains and subdomains

You can create one subdomain per project. Any subdomain created by you must be under the main domain of clikixsite.com.
Any subdomain created by you under clikixsite.com will fall under our sole ownership – you may only create and use subdomains; however, you cannot delete or sell any subdomains.
If you buy a domain from us, you will be the first owner of the domain, but we will have management access to your domain; we can add or remove your domain from our servers. We will not be allowed to sell any domain that you purchase.

2.3 Abuse of our Services and use of inappropriate content

We maintain a strict policy on the abuse of our Services and the use of inappropriate content.
If we detect that you have been involved in any illegal activities via the use of your Clikix account or breached the Terms in any way, then your account will be suspended. To retrieve your account, you will have to contact our support team.
If we detect any inappropriate content on your Clikix account , your account will be suspended. To retrieve your account, you will have to contact our support team.
We will take no legal responsibility for the consequences of any illegal activities conducted by you via your Clikix account, and any such consequences will solely be yours to bear. Furthermore, we may suspend or terminate your account if you create risks for us. The Terms shall be considered null and void following the termination of your account.
